24 Hour Service

• All sites are patrolled on a daily basis and inspected for signs of freeze/thaw.
• 24 hour dispatch center to assist you everyday of the week.
• All our operators are equipped with two-way radios
• We continually monitor, and keep thorough records of, weather forecasts provided by Environment Canada in the vicinity of all sites.
• Individual site logs record every site visit, work completed, site conditions, time of arrival and departure.

Insurance

The Beach Gardener recognizes the utmost importance of having valid insurance coverage. Protecting our clients, the general public, and ourselves from the expense of any unforeseen work place accidents is of high priority. In addition to training and re-training our staff on snow and winter safety, we carry comprehensive insurance coverage including:

 Coverage under the Workplace Safety + Insurance Board
 Contractors Comprehensive General Liability Insurance of not less than $5,000,000
 Public Liability insurance of not less than $5,000,000

Service Reports and Documentation

• We provide all clients with faxed service reports daily, weekly, or monthly upon request at no additional fee
• In the event of an accident or incident, all members of our crews have been fully trained on how to properly document and report the incidence. Our incident/accident investigation system involves:
• Taking on site photographs
• Completing an occurrence report
• Immediately notifying management
• Providing client with written documentation
• Incident follow up

Equipment and Facilities

• We maintain a 24 hour service yard, centrally located in the GTA area at the Don Valley Parkway & Eglinton, for fleet management and supply storage; including 300 ton salt storage area.
• Types of equipment, owned and operated include:
• ¾ ton pick ups with 8 ½ feet V-plows
• Topkick C6500 dump trucks with 10' plows and 8 yard sanders/salters
• Skid steers and other machinery specially designed for winter sidewalk maintenance
• Tri-axle dump trucks and loaders for snow removals
• John Deere Tractors with 20' plows
• Front End Loaders with plows and snow pushers for relocating and removing snow
